THE ORDINANCES Of THE CHURCH
Each 3rd Sunday we invite you to join us as we gather at the Baptismal Pool for Holy Baptism to celebrate new converts to Jesus Christ at 10:45 AM. We also invite you to join us around the Lord’s Table as we break together in commemoration and celebration of the Lord’s Supper during our 7:45 AM and 10:45 AM services each 3rd Sunday.
We do this in remembrance of the sacrifice of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of our sins of omission as well as commission. To God be the glory!
We celebrate baptism at Zion by immersion. We view baptism as an outward sign of our inward spiritual transformation. Christian Baptism at Zion is always preceded by a confession of faith in Jesus Christ as our personal Lord and Savior. We do not baptize infants. However, infant dedication is observed upon request.
The Lord’s Supper
The Lord’s Supper is a spiritually symbolic act through which both sacred symbols of bread and wine serve as symbols of the broken body and bloodshed of our Lord.
The Lord’s Supper is only administered to baptized believers in Christ Jesus. This policy is without exception.
